UP PGT Teacher Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection under UP PGT Teacher Recruitment 2026 is determined through the following stages:

1. Written Examination (360 Marks): Objective test containing 120 MCQs to be completed in 2 hours. The paper comprises 30 questions from General Knowledge and 90 questions from the Concern Subject (+3 marks for each correct answer; -1 mark negative marking for wrong responses).
2. Personal Interview (40 Marks): Assessment of teaching aptitude, subject command, and presentation before the interview panel.
