SSC CPO SI CAPF Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police & CAPFs (GD)	• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent. • Final Year Students: Candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation may also apply provided they acquire the essential qualification on or before the closing date (30 September 2026). • Driving License (For SI in Delhi Police – Male Only): Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PE&MT).
Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF	• Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized university, OR • Matriculation (10th) with a 3-Year Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Automobile, Chemical, Mining, Aeronautical, or Telecommunication Engineering. Higher qualifications like B.Tech/M.Tech are acceptable provided basic diploma requirements are met.

Age Limit Criteria (as on 01 August 2026)

• For SI in Delhi Police & CAPFs (General Duty): 20 to 25 Years (Candidate must not have been born earlier than 02.08.2001 and not later than 01.08.2006).
• For SI (Fire) in CISF: 18 to 30 Years.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and standard relaxations for Ex-Servicemen and Departmental candidates apply as per Government of India rules.

SSC CPO Selection Process & Physical Standards (PST/PET)

The selection process under SSC CPO SI CAPF Recruitment 2026 comprises four comprehensive stages:

1. Paper-I (Computer Based Examination – 200 Marks): 200 Questions covering General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 Qs), General Knowledge (50 Qs), Quantitative Aptitude (50 Qs), and English Comprehension (50 Qs). Duration: 2 Hours.
